Asian Legal Business (ALB) is pleased to reveal the full list of finalists for the fifth annual Malaysia Law Awards, the foremost awards event for the country’s legal profession. 

The ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2018 will be held on March 22 at a brand-new venue: Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur. The guest of honour for the evening will be YA Datuk Dr. Haji Hamid Sultan bin Abu Backer, Judge of the Court of Appeal, Malaysia. 

Shearn Delamore & Co is the frontrunner this year, with a total of 12 nominations in firm categories. Close behind are Skrine, Zaid Ibrahim and Azmi & Associates. Meanwhile, Adnan Sundra & Low, Albar & Partners, Kadir Andri & Partners, and international firm Clifford Chance are in the running in various deal categories.

For the Malaysia In-House Team of the Year, the strong list of finalists includes AEON, AIA, Astro Malaysia Holdings, China State Construction Engineering, Damansara Realty Berhad, Lazada Group, Maybank, Naza Corporation and Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
