Big Four Japanese law firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune (AMT) has established a presence in Hong Kong after opening an associate office - Nakamura & Associates – in that city.

The Hong Kong launch continues a steadily push for the firm into Asia in recent years. AMT currently also boasts offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta and Vietnam.

Nakamura & Associates was established in November 2019 by Hong Kong-qualified lawyer Hiroko Nakamura. The firm provides services  spanning M&A, capital markets, IP and dispute resolution.

AMT is the second Big Four Japanese firm to enter the Hong Kong market. In 2011, Nishimura & Asahi established affiliate office Okada Law Firm.
