Channel Islands-headquartered Carey Olsen has hired litigator Jeremy Lightfoot as a partner in Hong Kong from fellow offshore firm Campbells.

Lightfoot is the third partner hire for Carey Olsen in Hong Kong since June 2019, when it added James Webb and Michael Padarin. He is also the firm’s second litigation partner hire in Asia in the past three months, after Carey Olsen brought over James Noble from Harneys in Singapore to lead the firm’s litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice in the region.

Lightfoot specialises in cross-border disputes, commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring and arbitration proceedings in both the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.

Carey Olsen opened its Hong Kong office in 2016.
