Linklaters has welcomed M&A lawyer Yoshiyuki Asaoka as a partner in Tokyo from Nishimura & Asahi.

Asaoka advises on corporate matters, including inbound and outbound M&A, corporate governance and corporate litigation, with focus on private equity, financial services, and technology, media and telecommunications.

With his arrival, Linklaters now has nine partners in Tokyo, including Tracy Whiriskey, who joined from Ashurst in April 2022.
