Baker McKenzie’s Singapore member firm, Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow, has hired capital markets specialist Xavier Amadei as a local principal from Linklaters, where he was a counsel.

His appointment comes a few months after Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow hired Kenny Kwan, formerly the head of the capital markets practice at Drew & Napier, as a partner.

Amadei, who spent more than 14 years in Linklaters, advises on cross-border equity and debt offerings, advising investment banks, issuers (including sovereigns), and shareholders. His transactional experience includes SEC-registered offerings and offerings pursuant to Regulation S, Rule 144A as well as other private placements.
