Singapore boutique Lighthouse Law has bolstered its dispute resolution and white-collar crime capabilities after adding a team led by litigator Muslim Albakri. Albakri was most recently running its own practice, Albakri LLC.

With over a decade of experience, Muslim Albakri specialises in civil litigation, commercial disputes, and white-collar criminal defence. His client portfolio includes non-profit organisations, publicly listed companies, and foreign governments.

Prior to founding his own practice in 2019, Albakri worked at Tan Kok Quan Partnership and Big Four law firm Rajah & Tann.

Established in 2022, Lighthouse Law became the Singapore member of Los Angeles-headquartered Aliant Law last year. The firm is led by managing partner Adrian Wee and includes corporate partner Rachel Soh and commercial litigation associate Lynette Chang.

“Mus is not only an excellent litigator, but a thoroughly decent person, and we are thrilled to have him and his team on board,” said Wee in a statement. “I have no doubt that they will contribute significantly in serving our clients in Singapore and the greater Aliant network.”
