U.S. law firm White & Case has strengthened its banking practice in Singapore after hiring Alexander McMyn as a partner from Hogan Lovells.

McMyn, who will join White & Case in the next few months, has spent more than seven years at Hogan Lovells. Before joining Hogan Lovells, McMyn spent more than nine years at Linklaters as an associate.

Key work done by McMyn includes advising the arrangers of a $650 million facility to Indonesian natural gas transportation and distribution company Perusahaan Gas Negara, the arrangers of 1.2 trillion rupiah facility for Matahari Department Stores, and Pembroke Capital on the financing of two Airbus A330-300 aircraft to be delivered on lease to EVA Air.

His arrival will take the number of partners at White & Case’s Singapore office to nine.
