Latham & Watkins and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have advised PE firm Warburg Pincus on its $300 million hospitality joint venture with Vietnam’s largest PE firm VinaCapital, which was represented by Baker & McKenzie.

The joint venture will encompass development, acquisitions and operations across Southeast Asia. Starting from Vietnam, it plans to operate in hospitality markets in the region and increase tourist inflows, especially from China, in the next five to ten years.

The Latham & Watkins team was led by Hong Kong partner Amy Beckingham. She was assisted by partners Gary Hamp (Hong Kong) and Sean Finn (London).
