Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised Blackstone on its 75-billion-rupee ($1 billion) acquisition of Piramal Group’s Piramal Glass, which was counselled by Trilegal.

According to media reports, Blackstone’s acquisition would be Piramal's second recent deal with a major private equity firm, coming after a June agreement to sell a 20 percent stake in its Piramal Pharma unit to The Carlyle Group.

The Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas team was led by partner Shishir Vayttaden. Meanwhile, partners Sridhar Gorthi and Harsh Maggon led the Trilegal team.
