newsShardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) and Dentons have advised Indian edtech startup Byju’s on its $600 million acquisition of Singapore’s Great Learning, which was counselled by Allen & Gledhill and Infinitus Law.

Following Byju’s $1 billion fundraising round, the company has been looking for acquisitions; it recently purchased India’s Aakash Educational Services.

Partners Prateek Lala and Abhay Sharma led the SAM team, while the Dentons team was led by partners S. Sivanesan, Edmund Leow, S.C., Sunil Rai, Ho Jean Nie and Rizuan Pathie
