Withers has advised the State Bank of India over a £300 million ($423 million) loan facility for the acquisition of The Old War Office in London by the Hinduja Group, which was represented by Norton Rose Fulbright. 

The landmark property was acquired by The Hinduja Group in partnership with Spanish development company Obrascon Huarte Lain Desarrollos and is intended to be converted into a luxury hotel.

The Withers team was led by partners David Dannreuther and Paul Brecknell.
