Over the past year, he advised Kuwait Medical International on a major EXIM project finance deal and successfully resolved a complex settlement dispute with Bahrain’s Venture Capital Bank. His management of a $6.8 million share swap transaction for a prominent Kuwaiti company further highlights his ability to navigate intricate corporate and financial matters, consistently protecting his clients' interests in high-value transactions.

Under his leadership, TAG has experienced substantial growth in both its commercial and litigation practices. In 2023 alone, the firm handled over $200 million in commercial transactions and more than $3.5 billion in litigation matters. Dr. Fawaz has been nominated for several prestigious awards, including Managing Partner of the Year at the ALB Awards 2023 and the ALM Awards 2024. His leadership and expertise have been acknowledged by Legal 500, which praised his “excellent understanding of Kuwait civil law procedures and practices,” and by Chambers & Partners, which recognized his role in enhancing the firm's capabilities across various disciplines.

In addition to his legal practice, Dr. Fawaz is an active contributor to the legal community. In 2023, he authored several significant legal guides, including the 2023 Kuwait Litigation Guide for Legal 500, the 2024 Kuwait Litigation Guide for Chambers & Partners, and the 2024 Doing Business in Kuwait Guide for Thomson Reuters. These publications reflect his commitment to advancing legal knowledge and promoting legal literacy.

Under his leadership, Taher Group also achieved ISO 9001 certification, enhancing the firm’s operational efficiency, client service standards, and overall reputation.
