India’s largest firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), will be opening a representative office in Singapore on Feb. 12, according to media reports.

CAM is the latest Indian law firm to open a representative office in the city-state. According to the Legally India website, firms such as Kochhar & Co, Nishith Desai Associates and private equity boutique Lexygen maintain offices in Singapore.

Other Indian firms that earlier opened offices in Singapore include SNG & Partners, Wadia Ghandy and Dua Associates. The Wadia Ghandy office is understood to be closed, and the Singapore offices of the other two firms are no longer listed on the respective firms’ websites, Legally India added.

ALB tried contacting Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas about the story, but the firm had no response at the time of publishing.
