Guizhou Guida Law Firm, based in the southwestern Chinese city of Guiyang, has established its first overseas branch in Thailand.

Founded in 2000, Guida currently has approximately 700 lawyers across its 16 domestic offices. It offers services related to environment and natural resources, corporate legal affairs, civil and commercial dispute resolution, finance and securities, real estate and construction engineering, criminal law, intellectual property, liquidation and bankruptcy, and taxation.

The Thailand-Guizhou Trade Association and Guida recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement to explore new models for China-Thailand legal services.

A press release from the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China said that the establishment of Guida’s Thailand office not only provides strong legal support for Chinese enterprises in Thailand, but also offers a convenient channel for Thai companies to learn about China's laws and expand in the Chinese market.
