The Mumbai team of India’s Touchstone Partners, led by former office head Ruchir Sinha, has left to form a new firm called Resolut Partners.

Touchstone Partners was earlier known as Platinum Partners, a firm that had offices in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. After it split in November 2020, the Delhi and Bengaluru branches were rebranded as Touchstone, with the Mumbai office spinning off to become Quillon Partners. Sinha was hired from Nishith Desai Associates (NDA) to head Touchstone’s new Mumbai office.

Touchstone's Mumbai office remains operational, and will be led by partner Karam Daulet-Singh.

With more than a decade at NDA, Sinha advises on private equity, public equity, buy-outs, M&A, private credit deals and fund formation-related matters.
