newsWhite & Case has advised Korea’s Zinus, a maker of best-selling mattresses in North America, on its $732 million sale of a 35.8 percent stake to Hyundai Department Store (HDS), a major department store chain in the country.

Zinus, listed in Korea, makes more than 90 percent of its revenue from global sales, and accounts for more than 30 percent of the US online mattress market. The deal marks the largest-ever acquisition for HDS, according to the Korea Economic Daily.

The White & Case team was led by partner Dongho Lee, who was supported by partners Rebecca Farrington and Tilman Kuhn.
