Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and Melli Darsa & Co (MDC) have acted as international and domestic counsel to PT Blue Bird, Indonesia's largest taxi operator, on its $200 million initial public offering, with Clifford Chance and Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung representing the joint global coordinators and bookrunners Credit Suisse, Danareksa and UBS.

According to Reuters, Blue Bird had planned the IPO for last year but it was delayed in lieu of regulatory approval. The company had sought to revive the IPO after an outstanding lawsuit from a family member of its founder was thrown out by a district court.  It also cut the size of its IPO from an earlier projection of $307 million.

The Milbank team was led by partner Naomi Ishikawa, while Melli Darsa was the lead partner on behalf of MDC. The Clifford Chance team was led by Singapore partner Johannes Juette.
