The summit brought almost 200 in-house counsel, business elites and industry experts together, and more than 10 speakers shared in-depth observations and had active discussions on a bunch of hot topics. The summit officially kicked off with presentations delivered by two senior partners from TianTai Law Firm: Liu Liyi, Ma Xiang. They together presented on the topic of “Legal Risks and Solutions for Businesses.” Following a short refreshment break, the summit welcomed three experts from Beijing Starrise Law Firm, director and founding partner Wang Jun, deputy director and founding partner Wang Wening, and founding partner Du Jiahong. They presented on the topic ALB BEIJING IN-HOUSE LEGAL SUMMIT 2023 CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY 2023 ALB北京企业法律顾问峰会圆满举办 of “The Interaction of Litigation and Compliance.” After the networking luncheon, the summit welcomed Frances Xu, compliance director at Inspur Power Commercial Systems. She presented on the topic of “Exploring the Localization Practice of Joint Venture Compliance Implementation.” Xu was followed by Yang Guoquan, partner at Bridgeon Law Firm. Yang delivered a speech on “Open-Source Compliance Management for Enterprises.” In the following panel discussion, Su Zhongming, senior counsel at Beijing Starrise Law Firm; Li Xinyang, general manager of legal compliance department/ supervision department at Dajia Asset Management; and Luo Yuan, general counsel, vice president, company secretary at SATP Holding, explored on the topic of “The Advocate and the Practice - Exploring the Hot Spots of Corporate Compliance and Sharing the Experience of Compliance Management.” The summit then went into a second panel discussion. Li Fang, senior partner and managing partner at TianTai Law Firm; Li Gen, general counsel of the legal and compliance department at a leading investment group company; Huang Huina, general manager of legal and risk management dept/compliance and audit dept at China Power International Holding; and Yi Xiaojie, chief legal officer-North Asia at LDC (China) Trading Company, exchanged ideas on the topic of “The Present and the Future - the Active Role of In-House Counsels and Lawyers in Business Development.” The summit concluded successfully with the warm reception of all participants.
