Over the past two decades, the ALB SE Asia Law Awards has played a pivotal role in shaping the growth of Southeast Asia’s legal industry. By recognising outstanding achievements, fostering healthy competition, and showcasing best practices, these awards have consistently raised the bar for legal excellence in the region. The event has become a catalyst for innovation, encouraging firms to adapt to changing market dynamics and embrace new technologies, ultimately contributing to the overall advancement of the legal profession in Southeast Asia. And this year was the biggest so far. “We’ve seen an extraordinary number of entries this year, 1,047 to be exact, underscoring the dynamic nature of our legal community,” said Amantha Chia, senior director of Thomson Reuters’ Legal Media Group, in her opening speech. “Over the past two decades, we’ve not only grown alongside the legal industry, but we’ve also taken an active role in its development by chronicling its successes and accomplishments.” Allen & Gledhill clinched the prestigious Singapore Law Firm of the Year award, the SE Asia Law Firm of the Year award, and four additional accolades.
