This year, we’ve had an impressive 237 law firms and corporate in-house teams submit a whopping 1,743 nominations. With 65 new faces joining the fray, it’s clear that there’s a lot of fresh energy in the industry. We’ve also introduced three new awards to shine a light on progress in emerging industries and cutting-edge areas. Additionally, we’ve seen a 6% increase in law firm participation and a 12% rise in individual submissions. Despite global challenges slowing down transactions, we’ve seen a 31% surge in deal-related submissions, especially in booming sectors like pharmaceuticals, healthcare, new energy, electric vehicles, and evolving consumer trends. Among the standout areas are dispute resolution, intellectual property, M&As, and bonds, all showing significant activity and underlining the close connection between legal services and economic growth. And let’s not forget the ESG and Sustainability Law Firm of the Year award, which highlights remarkable progress in business maturity and market impact. Despite the ups and downs of the global scene, China’s economy has been steadily growing, with a 5.2% boost in 2023 and continuing strength into 2024. The country’s focus on industrial transformation and the rise of innovative sectors are reshaping 经过近3个月严谨调研，《亚洲 法律杂志》于日前公布了二零二四年 ALB中国法律大奖入围名单。与过往 相同，今年的ALB中国法律大奖旨在 通过表彰业界领先的律师事务所和 优秀的企业法务团队，以及上一年度 突出的交易案例，见证并庆贺中国法 律服务行业的不断发展。 2023年，中国经济在动荡的全球 政治、经济环境中取得了5.2%的GDP 增长，这一增速也持续到了2024年第 一季度。与此同时，中国不断寻求产 业转型，推动高质量、强创新领域快 速发展。可以说，中国的每一次经济 脉动，都深刻影响着法律人的工作内 容与思考路径，法律人也不断以所参 与的交易、案例、项目，回应时代发展 新命题。 今年，共有237家律师事务所和 企业法务团队参与到ALB中国法律 大奖之中，提名总数为1743项。特别 值得提及，参与者中有65家新律所及 法务团队面孔。 今年的法律大奖共设44个奖项， 其中包括三个全新奖项，它们都来自 法务类别，分别是：汉坤年度新能源 业公司法务组大奖、通力年度企业数 字化转型公司法务组大奖、年度公司 法务大奖。这些奖项将从全新的角度 观察并表彰法务团队在新行业、新赋 能方面取得的成绩。 在律所和律师类奖项方面，今年 参与律所的数量继续提高6%，个人 类奖项申报数量则提高了12%。值 得注意的是，虽然去年全球经济降缓 导致交易疲软，中国法律大奖的交易 类申报却提高了31%，且频现大型交 易。这些交易聚焦于快速发展的医疗 健康、新能源、电动汽车、新消费等板 块，且具备强烈的跨境色彩，体现出 中国与东南亚、中东、拉美等地的活 跃互动。 业务领域方面，受经济周期影 响，争议解决、知识产权、并购、债券 等领域的申报尤为活跃，再次证明了 法律服务与经济活动的密切关联。此 外，年度环境、社会和公司治理服务 律师事务所大奖也特别值得留意：虽 然这一奖项设置仅仅两年，但参与律 所在业务成熟度、市场影响力层面的 进步，让人眼前一亮。 虽然市场不断变化，但法律人总 是回应以更强的斗志和韧性，化挑战 为乐趣，变风险为机遇。正是在这种 精神的鼓舞下，ALB也在不断展开产 品创新。过去几年，虽然挑战重重， 我们依旧在中国市场推出了多达十 余种全新的出版、评级、调研、活动、 新媒体等产品，持续践行“创造有价 值的内容，打造深度交流平台”的理 念。这一束创新之光也将继续引领我 们接下来的道路。 二零二四年ALB中国法律大奖颁 奖晚宴将于5月23日在北京举行，我 们诚邀所有入围者共赴顶尖法律人 士与商业精英云集的盛大活动，期待 最终获奖名单的揭晓！ the legal landscape, and it’s inspiring to see how legal professionals are adapting and thriving in this evolving environment.
