U.S. firm McDermott Will & Emery (MWE) has added Clarinda Tjia-Dharmadi as the chair of its Asia transactions practice to its recently opened Singapore office. She joins from Latham & Watkins, where she spent more than two decades.
An expert in international project development and finance expert, Tjia-Dharmadi advises clients in the power, oil and gas, petrochemicals, infrastructure and mining sectors. She is a former co-chair of Latham’s global power industry group.
MWE returned to Asia last year with the opening of its Singapore office, following a brief period without physical offices in the region.
Since the Singapore launch in July, MWE has hired partners Siddhartha Sivaramakrishnan, Alfred Chia, and Merrick White to that office.
