King & Wood Mallesons and Baker & McKenzie are the strongest law firm brands in the Asia-Pacific region, according to research firm Acritas, which also found that legal spend in the region is set to rise at double the rate of the global average. 

The annual Acritas Asia Pacific Brand Index rankings is compiled following a survey of 2,300 senior buyers of legal services from across the globe. It tracks how legal buyers select law firms and highlights their brand equity.

Three other homegrown law firms make the Top 10 in the rankings, namely Kim & Chang, JunHe and Nishimura & Asahi.
