Pinsent Masons has hired James Harris as the head of its Asia-Pacific finance and projects practice from Jones Day’s Singapore office.

Harris joined Jones Day in August 2016. Prior to that, he spent 15 years at Hogan Lovells, holding roles such as global head of infrastructure and Singapore managing partner.

With over 30 years of experience, Harrish advises on greenfield and brownfield projects across industry sectors such oil & gas, power/renewables, mining/resources, climate/carbon, transport, water treatment and distribution, waste management, biomass, health and hospitals, education, sports and leisure, integrated resorts/casinos, telecoms, and defence. He advises project developers/sponsors, host governments and funders.

Harris will be Pinsent Masons’ 13th partner in Singapore. The firm has an additional three partners at its Singapore joint law venture, Pinsent Masons MPillay.
