Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas has appointed Rajat Bose as a partner in the firm’s tax practice in Delhi from EY where he was an associate partner. 

Specialising in indirect tax, customs, foreign trade policy and internal trade, Bose has over 12 years of experience representing multinationals on issues including consulting, litigation and compliance. 

Bose has been a part of two of the Big Four accounting firms. He was a tax consultant at KPMG, and then he had two stints at EY - from 2009-2012, and then from 2015 until January this year.

Prior to Bose, recent hires by SAM include Sugandha Asthana, Nivedita Tiwari, and Harsh Kumar.
