Pinsent Masons has bolstered its transactional services group with the hire of Nicholas Hanna and Mark Tan as partners in Singapore from K&L Gates.
Hanna spent nearly seven years at K&L Gates, having joined the firm as a partner from Watson Farley & Williams in 2013. He focuses on capital markets, cryptocurrency and digital coin offerings as well as cross border M&A , restructurings and corporate fundraisings. 
Meanwhile, Tan specialises in M&A, joint ventures, initial coin offerings, corporate fundraising, capital markets, insolvency and restructurings. He also joined K&L Gates in 2013, and was made partner in 2018. Tan worked earlier at Holman Fenwick Willan, and before that, the legacy Stamford Law Corporation. 
At Pinsent Masons, both Hanna and Tan will primarily focus on clients within the financial services, technology, science & industry, and energy sectors.
The arrival of Hanna and Tan will take the partner count to 14 in Pinsent Masons’ Singapore office.
