Tim Haynes editU.S. law firm Kobre & Kim has hired Timothy Haynes as a partner in Hong Kong from offshore outfit Walkers, where he led the insolvency and dispute resolution group.

At Kobre & Kim, Haynes will build upon the firm’s offshore capabilities in Asia Pacific. He focuses on litigation, cross-border management, shareholder, commercial insolvency and corporate restructuring disputes, many of which are connected to Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands.

Prior to joining Walkers in 2009, Haynes spent five years as an associate at Baker McKenzie, and was a barrister for six years, attached to Hong Kong’s Pacific Chambers.

With Haynes’ addition, Kobre & Kim’s Hong Kong office now has 11 lawyers.
