Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is advising Hong Kong-headquartered tissue and diaper maker Vinda International Holdings on its $3.3 billion proposed acquisition by Royal Golden Eagle (RGE), owned by Indonesian billionaire Sukanto Tanoto.

RGE has made an offer for a 52 percent stake in Vinda, which is owned by Swedish tissue maker Essity.

The deal comes as multinational companies are reviewing their presence in China or holdings in Chinese businesses amid heightened geopolitical tensions and China's economic slowdown, Reuters reported.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by partners Psyche Tai and Rachel Chan.
