Beijing-headquartered DeHeng Law Offices has established its first Southeast Asia office in Vientiane, Laos, led by director Jia Hui.

The landlocked country of Laos is in the northern part of Indochina, bordered by China to the north. The China-Laos Economic Corridor is a significant project under the "Belt and Road," aimed at enhancing economic development and regional connectivity between the two countries.

In a press release, DeHeng stated that the new office will provide legal services related to the growing economic activity between China and Laos.
