K&L Gates has strengthened its Tokyo office with the hires of commercial disputes partner Takahiro Hoshino and finance and real estate partner Takahiro Tsumagari.

Tsumagari joins K&L Gates from Atsumi & Sakai, where he led the international trade and tax practice. He advises clients on M&A, real estate and structured financings, antitrust matters and commercial trade issues.

Previously the founder and managing partner of Hoshino & Partners in Tokyo, Hoshino advises companies on M&A, financing, restructuring, commercial litigation and labour disputes. He brings with him a team of four associates: Osamu Miura, Nobuki Wada, Yuki Okada, and Yasuhito Yamada.
