Al Tamimi & Company has promoted four lawyers to its partnership, namely Grahame Nelson, Ivor McGettigan, Nick O’Connell, and Naeif Yahia who will officially join the partnership on July 1, 2015.

Nelson is the head of the Saudi Arabia office, while the others are in the UAE. McGettigan, O’Connell and Yahia are in employment, TMT and dispute resolution practices, respectively.

In addition, Husam Hourani has been announced as managing partner for another term, commencing in 2016.

In March, Al Tamimi opened two new offices in Cairo and Jeddah. It now has more than 600 employees in 16 offices across nine countries.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
