UK law firm Addleshaw Goddard has hired construction expert Chau Ee Lee as a partner in Singapore from King & Wood Mallesons’ Beijing office.
Lee joined KWM in 2016 from Singapore Big Four firm Drew & Napier, where he headed the construction and engineering group. Lee advises contractors, governments and other clients on energy, infrastructure and construction and engineering projects. His experience also covers project development, dispute resolution and international arbitration.
Lee is Addleshaw Goddard’s latest partner hire in Asia this year, following the addition of infrastructure specialist Ton van den Bosch as a partner in Singapore from Ince & Co, and disputes lawyer Ronald Sum in Hong Kong as the firm’s Asian litigation practice. Sum joined from Locke Lord.
Addleshaws’ Singapore office now has two partners and one legal director.
