Allen & Gledhill has hired Scott Clements as a partner for its competition practice from Drew & Napier’s Singapore office.

Clements focuses on economic analysis of competition law matters and has extensive experience in relation to contentious and non-contentious competition law matters.

He has also assisted on multiple leniency filings made to the Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS).

He joined Drew & Napier as an international lawyer in 2007 and became deputy head of the firm’s competition and regulatory practice group in 2014.

Before joining Drew & Napier, he worked as a senior investigator at New Zealand’s Commerce Commission. While at the agency, which oversees New Zealand’s regulatory and competition enforcement. Clements was involved in competition law investigations relating to M&As and electricity-specific matters.
