UAE-based law firm Al Tamimi & Co has promoted five partners at its United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia offices, thus increasing  its total partner number across the Middle East to 41.

Former senior associate Ammar Haykal was promoted to partner within the litigation practice, as was Tara Marlow, the head of the firm’s property and hospitality practice. Haykal will be based in Sharjah, while Marlow will work out of Dubai. Dubai-based senior associate David Yates has also been named partner in the firm’s technology, media and telecom practice.

Amongst its Saudi promotions, Al Tamimi has named both Hehsam Al Homoud and Glenn Lovell as partners. While Al Hamoud is the head of the corporate commercial practice in Al Tamimi’s Saudi Arabia office, Lovell has worked in thebanking and finance department, as well as the corporate and commercial department.
