Amarchand & Mangaldas has hired Nikhil Narayanan as a corporate partner from White & Case’s London office.

Narayanan, who will be based in New Delhi, is experienced in handling cross-border M&A and equity capital market transactions. He has advised international corporates, financial sponsors, private equity funds and bulge bracket investment banks during his 13-year career.

“We have a great talent pool which has been, and continues to be, a cornerstone of the firm’s success story. The appointment of Nikhil Narayanan as a partner is a significant step in the direction of bolstering our strengths in the already well established corporate practice of the firm,” said Shardul Shroff, Amarchand’s New Delhi managing partner, in a statement.

Prior to joining White & Case, Narayanan worked as an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and as an investment banker at Credit Suisse, both in London.
