India’s HSA Advocates has continued its hiring spree with the hire of Atulya Sharma as a banking and finance partner in New Delhi from Apollo Tyres, where he was the global chief legal counsel.

Sharma’s experience revolves around banking, finance, projects and corporate legal practice, litigations, financial regulatory and technical internal investigations. He has also had stints with various organisations including Deutsche Bank, IDFC Group and Dua Associates. 

The past few months have seen a plethora of new hires by HSA. In September, the firm hired a team of five litigation lawyers in Mumbai from PKA Advocates, and in July, it added corporate partner Bharat Sharma from Naik Naik & Co.

In May, HSA opened its new office in the South Indian city of Bengaluru and hired partner Sharath Chandrasekhar from Citius Law to bolster the new outpost. 

In the same month, it also hired Amitabh Sharma from Khaitan & Co. to replace outgoing managing partner Hemant Sahai.
