Oentoeng Suria & Partners (OSP), Ashurst’s associate firm in Indonesia, has hired Dion Alfadya as a partner in Jakarta from Ginting & Reksodiputro, which operates in association with Allen & Overy.

Alfadya, who was a counsel at A&O, specialises in M&A, joint ventures, fundraisings, strategic collaborations and investments, private equity and venture capital transactions. With experience of more than 15 years, he focuses on the Indonesian and broader Southeast Asian markets.

Before joining Allen & Overy in 2015, Alfadya had an in-house stint with AkzoNobel. He was earlier with Hadiputranto Hadinoto & Partners, Baker McKenzie’s Indonesia member firm for about seven years.

Alfadya is the third lateral hire for Ashurst this year following Rob Child and Andrew Roche.
