Bingham McCutchen has boosted its intellectual property and litigation expertise, adding Chris Mizumoto as a partner at its Tokyo office.
Previously with DLA Piper in Tokyo, Mizumoto advises electronics and pharmaceutical companies on U.S. patent licensing, prosecution and litigation matters, including patent infringement disputes and invalidity opinions.
The addition of Mizumoto is the latest in a string of new hires at Bingham McCutchen’s Tokyo office. In May this year, the firm bolstered its investment funds group with the hires of partners Christopher Wells and Tomoko Fuminaga, and five other lawyers from White & Case.
