Clifford Chance has boosted its maritime, offshore and project finance practices in Singapore with the addition of partners Gervais Green and Kate Sherrard from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Asset finance specialist Green advises on project financings for the offshore oil and gas and shipping sectors for LNG vessels, FPSOs, FSOs and drilling and production rigs. Meanwhile Sherrard, who is set to join Clifford Chance in September, focuses her practice on shipping and offshore oil and gas sectors in South East Asia.

Both partners will join Clifford Chance’s maritime and offshore practice in Asia Pacific that was established by partner Alastair MacAulay who joined the firm from Mayer Brown JSM in 2013.

“Having them join us in Singapore, an international hub for offshore oil and gas and LNG shipping, represents a significant enhancement of our global capability,” said asset finance partner William Glaister, in a statement.
