Clasis Law has appointed former Juris Corp senior partner Mustafa Motiwala as the head its Mumbai office. Motiwala’s appointment is the first in a series of strategic steps the firm has planned to develop its Mumbai office.

Motiwala will be responsible for building and leading Clasis Law’s real estate practice, in addition to further developing the firm's litigation practice with New Delhi partner Sumeet Lall.

Motiwala specialises in litigation, real estate and corporate work and for more than two decades, he has advised on all forms of dispute resolution, real estate, corporate commercial, intellectual property rights and media and entertainment laws.

“We are delighted to welcome Mustafa to the firm. His arrival brings a new impetus for Clasis Law in Mumbai and fits firmly with our strategic plan. We intend to develop key practices in Mumbai with the overall goal of achieving significant presence and reputation in the Mumbai market, which will complement the overall capabilities of our other Clasis Law offices,” Vineet Aneja, Clasis Law partner and head of its Delhi office, said in a statement.
