Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has hired disputes and regulatory specialist Rebecca Kelly as a partner at its Dubai office from Clyde & Co.

Kelly, who has been based in the UAE since 2005, focuses her practice on arbitration, litigation, corporate and regulatory compliance, occupational safety and health (OSH), and white-collar crime. She has been involved in developing UAE regulatory compliance manuals for corporate entities, and is involved in OSH law reform in the region. Kelly also advises on compliance with local and international compliance with anti-corruption and bribery legislation, including FCPA and UKBA and the management of risk.

“We are pleased to welcome Rebecca, whose arrival enhances our ability to handle sophisticated business disputes and regulatory compliance matters for our clients,” Jami McKeon, chair of Morgan Lewis, said in a statement. “Our clients expect that their outside counsel will be able to field an appropriate combination of Dubai-based and global services at short notice, and the addition of Rebecca addresses that need.”

Morgan Lewis’ Dubai office currently has five partners following the arrival of Kelly.
