International law firm Clyde & Co has named Rebecca Ford, former partner at Al Tamimi & Co, as partner within its growing employment and incentives practice.

Ford advises on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, becoming the second partner within the firm’s employment practice. She joins Sara Khoja, who was promoted to partner within in May.  Ford has advised major blue-chip, multinational and semi-governmental companies, and has a particular focus on the financial sector. Ford is based in the firm's Dubai office.

"Rebecca's arrival strengthens and deepens the capabilities of the team.  We have a unique service offering to clients and continue to invest in this growing area of law through further expansion of the team, which will consist of nine lawyers by September 2012,” said Jonathan Silver, head of Clyde & Co's regional practice.

The employment and incentives team in the Middle East, which consists of both English and Arabic speaking lawyers, operates on a regional basis and works closely with the firm's specialist employment teams across the globe.
