Clyde & Co has appointed marine specialist Andrew Gray as a partner in the firm’s global marine practice.

Gray, who was previously a partner at Hill Dickinson, has more than 11 years of experience as a shipping specialist in the Asia Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong and Singapore, he focuses on wet matters and marine insurance. His practice includes all aspects of Admiralty work, including collision, marine and offshore casualty response and investigation, general average, grounding, salvage, oil pollution, piracy, fire, unseaworthiness, unsafe port claims, cargo loss and general marine insurance claims.

Gray is expected to assume his new post in early 2016.

“We see great potential in admiralty work in the region, which is likely to experience significant growth over the coming years,” said Brian Nash, Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore office managing partner, in a statement.
