Beijing-based Chinese firm Dahui Lawyers has recruited Peter Burrows, former head of Norton Rose Fulbright's Beijing and Shanghai offices, as a senior consultant.

Real estate expert Burrows has practiced law for more than 35 years. Before moving to China in 2008, he was based in London, where he worked closely with Norton Rose's corporate and banking teams on IPOs, M&A transactions, cross-border transactions and acquisition financing deals.Since his relocation to China, he oversaw the firm's operations.

“Peter will bring a wealth of firm management experience to his new role in helping to shape Dahui Lawyers’ business and strategy, as well as optimise internal control and compliance processes,” said a DaHui announcement.
