Duane Morris & Selvam has hired corporate lawyer Jamie Benson from Dorsey & Whitney in London as a director, as it seeks to grow the capacity of its corporate practice in Singapore.

He has experience representing clients, including major global investments banks and Indian investment banks on securities offerings by Indian issuers; SEC-registered equity offerings; equity private placements; SEC-registered debt offerings; high-yield, convertible and investment-grade bond offerings; debt private placements; American Depositary Receipt programmes; Global Depositary Receipt offerings; M&As of U.S. public companies and non-U.S. public companies; asset purchases and sales; SEC-reporting obligations; migrating companies to the United States; and establishment of and sale of interests in hedge funds and private equity funds.
