Duane Morris & Selvam has hired corporate lawyer Jamie Benson from Dorsey & Whitney in London as a director, as it seeks to grow the capacity of its corporate practice in Singapore.

With more than 14 years' experience as a U.S. securities lawyer, Benson focuses on international capital markets and cross border M&A work. He has experience representing clients, including major global investments banks and Indian investment banks on securities offerings by Indian issuers; SEC-registered equity offerings; equity private placements; SEC-registered debt offerings; high-yield, convertible and investment-grade bond offerings; debt private placements; American Depositary Receipt programmes; Global Depositary Receipt offerings; M&As of U.S. public companies and non-U.S. public companies; asset purchases and sales; SEC-reporting obligations; migrating companies to the United States; and establishment of and sale of interests in hedge funds and private equity funds.
