Hogan Lovells has hired Nabeel Ikram as arbitration partner in Dubai from Dechert, where he was a national partner.

Ikram’s expertise is in international arbitration and litigation in the UAE, construction and engineering, and transport and infrastructure disputes. He recently represented the developer of a large mixed-use site in Dubai with respect to its claims against a contractor following the termination of a sub-contract in Dubai International Arbitration Centre proceedings. He also represented an employer in ad-hoc arbitration proceedings relating to claims arising out of a large infrastructure project in Dubai.

Previously, Ikram worked with Clyde & Co and Dewey & Leboeuf in Dubai after starting his career in the UK with Hogan Lovells, then called Lovell White Durrant.
