Economic Laws Practice (ELP) has appointed tax litigation expert Alok Yadav from Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys as a partner in its Delhi Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice.

Yadav has more than 14 years of experience in direct and indirect tax litigation, and his areas of expertise span across customs, central excise, service tax and litigation matters related to indirect taxes.

Prior to joining ELP, Yadav was a partner in Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys’ litigation team before which he was associated with Delhi-based J.B. Dadachanji and Co where he started his career in 2000.

“We are delighted to welcome Alok to our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, and look forward to the continued growth of our Delhi office,” ELP managing partner, Rohan Shah, said in a statement.

“Alok's considerable experience in indirect tax and litigation fits well with our practice and further enhances our already strong and growing team,” he added.
