Indian firm Saraf and Partners has hired projects, energy and infrastructure expert Samridha Neupane as a partner in Delhi from L&L Partners, its tenth lateral hire in the past 10 months.

Neupane is focused on renewable energy and natural resources-related work, and has experience in strategic investments, private equity investments, and M&A, along with project and construction-related documentation and general corporate law advisory.

Having started his career at Tatva Legal in 2011, Neupane joined Khaitan & Co in 2015. He moved to L&L in 2019, and became a partner in April last year.

Saraf and Partners was established in July last year by former L&L equity partner Mohit Saraf, who exited that firm with about 20 other partners. Since that time, it has grown its headcount from a little under 100, to around 180 today.

The number of partners at Saraf currently stands at 31. These include energy specialist Alok Shankar (former of HSA Advocates), and disputes and IP expert Shashank Manish (previously at P&A Law Offices), who both joined Saraf’s Delhi office in March.
