David Case, a former IP and technology partner with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Tokyo, has left the firm to launch his own boutique, Asia Pacific Law, in the United States.
At Asia Pacific Law, Case aims to assist clients in Japan and the U.S. with their intellectual property, commercial transactions, venture capital investments and dispute related issues.
Case, who spent six years with Orrick, focuses on intellectual property, information technology/blockchain, artificial intelligence, AR/VR, licensing, litigation, alliance and e-commerce. He has also assisted with or been lead counsel in litigations and arbitrations in the U.S. and Japan.
