Hall & Wilcox, which opened its Sydney office in February, has hired Danny Herceg as lead partner of its corporate/commercial team. Herceg joins from his own practice, Herceg Lawyers, which he had been running since 2002.

With almost 20 years of experience, Herceg has advised Australian and international enterprises in the areas of public listings, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, capital market divestments and restructures, takeover defences and dispute resolution.

Herceg previously worked with Mayer, Platt Brown in Chicago and Freehills in Sydney, and was a partner at Gilbert & Tobin before starting Herceg Lawyers.

Hall & Wilcox’s launched its Sydney office after acquiring the local office of Duncan Cotterill.
