Indonesian law firm Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners (HPRP) has appointed Harry Prabawa as a partner in Jakarta.

Prabawa will head the firm’s international trade practice. He specialises in World Trade Organisation rules and dispute settlements, anti-dumping, safeguards and subsidies, in addition to advising on free-trade agreements and other customs issues.

Prabawa has been dealing in international trade remedies proceedings for the last 15 years in economies including Australia, the EU, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Brazil, and the United States.

Prior to joining HPRP, Prabawa ran his own law firm, Prabawa & Hayyu Law Office, in Jakarta.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
